My Friend's Night

Last night, it was one memorable once in a life time event for my friend, May. Marrying the man of his dreams. It was indeed a very joyous moment to see them bind their love under God's grace. We're all very happy for these new couples and we all wish them the best!



The gathering also gave way to reunite with my college friends. And not only that, it was a surprise to see my former Nursery co-trainee, Carol at the celebration. So we made a way to bond together by taking pics of us both.

On Christmas Day...

It was JC's birthday yesterday and we had a small celebration at his grandma's house. Invited the kids along the neighborhood and they had a small feast.

At night, we went to Mana Davao to take some pictures with their attractive Christmas decors. Even met my former classmate, Nikki, there.

Finally...

Last night, I gave in to my urge of calling Arven after I found out he made a new ym. I guess that was the last sign I was waiting for, so I have to confirm his feelings for me as well as my feelings so I wouldn't be thinking of waiting for him to come back. Ate my pride and stooped down on his level to beg for another chance, still...he didn't gave in. Was crying but it wasn't the same tears I had before for him. Even said he's already seeing someone now. Still, I wasn't intrigued. Hayz, after the conversation, I was still crying since it's finally over and I realized I already lost my feelings for him. Time will come that he'll realized he's thinking wrong about me. c",)

Giving Chances

Whatever reasons it may be, are you still willing to give someone a second chance? Some people will, others won't. Personally, I believe that everyone of us deserves another chance. Who are we to close our doors anyway? Even our parents forgave us no matter how great our mistakes were. Even God died for us to give us another chance to live our lives and to change.

Important thing is that, we learn from our mistakes and experiences in life. In this way, it helps us become more mature to face trials in our life with a positive and open mind. I guess people who doesn't give another chance are close minded. But we cannot blame them on the other hand for they were hurt.

But what hurts most is when you gave someone another chance/s, believing that everything will be okay after and he'll somehow change; but, when you were the one who made a mistake, everything just ended and there's no chance given to you to prove yourself by that same person. Worst is, he thinks you'll never change and he thinks worst things about you.

Realization

It's still unbelievable for me that our long term relationship's over. I really regret what I did that hurt him, if only I could turn back the time. If only he could give me a second chance.

It hurts me more knowing that he really didn't love me that much. That this incident showed me that our love's not that strong to face adversities in our relationship. Instead, his love for me faded and was replaced with anger. Though, I understand that. On the other hand, by this incident I realized that I really do love him which is painful because it's now one-sided. I can't seem to imagine myself with another man. I can't seem to love someone else again. T_T. But still, I have to try to go on living without him. He will always be in my heart.

On Getting Hurt

Finally, I felt what it feels like getting hurt. Though I've been hurt before but I can say it was just subtle. The recent pain I went through was terribly painful. Mixed emotions have been felt not knowing what to do and made impulsive acts in the process.

Now I understand the pain it feels. And now I realized that it is not best to make decisions when you're hurt or when you're mad like what other authors say. It is because you base your judgments on your emotions which is not healthy. You are making hasty and impulsive decisions. I've been in that stage. Was impulsive with my decisions and made stupid actions. And after the pain subsides, regrets from making such decisions set in.

When you're hurt, you only care about your feelings. You only see the side of you, you're welfare. You become emotionally blinded. You can't think rationally. In this time, you need social support like your family and friends to help you see the other side of the picture...not to judge and be bias in favor of you. They are there for support and give advices. But it doesn't mean then that their advises are the best. In the end it is only you who decide rationally with an open mind. Praying also helps a lot and surrendering yourself to God helps you in the grieving process.

A Prayer of Thanks

"Haven't been online lately but now I'm back!"


Heavenly Father,

For these past few months, I've been dwelling on this painful experience in my life. It was indeed so painful to hurt the person I loved. Still, you stood by me & comforted me with your loving grace. I've done everything to save our relationship at all cost. But you see, despite of this, you showed me the real personality of the person I loved. If this didn't happen, I wouldn't see the PROS and the CONS of our relationship. This was the chance you gave me to foresee my future with him, and it wasn't desirable after all.

I admit I'm not a perfect gf. I admit I failed. But these are not enough for him to verbally and emotionally abused me. You were the one who knew everything and I lift these all up to you. Surrendering to you my heart aches, grievances, sadness, anger and regrets. Coz it is only you who understood me completely.

Thank you for my family and friends. For they were the instruments of your love. Their unconditional love and understanding really helped me face this test with an open mind. They have been very supportive and patient. Their sound advices helped me rise up from where I fall. They helped me bring myself back into my senses where I was emotionally blinded. They also helped me bring back my faith in You.

I would still thank you for bringing Arven into my life. As they say, he is just a part of my life, he isn't my life. With him, I learned how to love and be loved; got hurt and stand up again; humbled and understood. I may not be the perfect girl for him, but at least I was closed to being the right one. I would still forever cherish those times being with him coz I knew he really did loved me, but sadly, not enough to face and fight adversities.

I am grateful truly for this blessing in disguise. Starting anew on my own isn't easy without your help and guidance. But now is the time to present to you my renewed self...even better and whole once again. May you continue to guide me as I continue the journey of my life. Amen.

Portable Fan

Back home, I am fond of sleeping anywhere in the house where I find it cozy. Don't get me wrong. I have my own bedroom but I still wanted to sleep somewhere in the house where I find it conducive for sleeping and comforting on my part. Good thing we have portable fans where I could use to give me good ventilation.

Last Word Syndrome

The day I first heard this statement from him, "Ayaw ko na talaga", it didn't get off my head. Until now, I repeatedly hear this words in my mind and it hurts like hell. I still cry over and over again whenever I remember these words. My heart's in pain and there's nothing that can ease this especially now that he's gone. I have to bear the pain coz there's nothing that I can do now. It's like your heart's being squeezed to death by an unknown thing until you'll get an infarction and it feels like I'm going to have an abnormal ECG soon.

Dreaming A Dead Person

Two nights ago, I dreamt of seeing a dead person smiling at me with a red color in the background. That dead female's not my acquaintance but the moment I saw it in my dream, I sensed that it's a sign that it's already over. Although basing on the dream dictionary I researched online, it didn't tackle about ending. I'm confused.. Hehe. Although there were two of them but I didn't saw the face of the other one but I knew it's a dead person as well who is lying on the dead female's lap. I guess the dead body is the sign for ending. *Sob.

Hayz, I'm sad that it's finally over and I missed him so badly. I'm trying to be happy but deep down inside I'm in so much pain. T_T

one of my comfort zones

Most of us have our bedrooms as our comfort zone. It's our sanctuary and they say you may know the character of the person by looking at his/her room.

I do have my own room but recently, I find myself sleeping in the dining room. During our recent break up, I got used to sleeping in that corner. I don't know why, but I think I'm more comfortable there. It's situated in the left upper corner of our dining room and next to it is already our dining table.

waiting for his sms

Since this morning I was texting Arven some messages. Sadly, I got no reply. Tried calling him in his mobile but it's out of reach. I remembered him telling me he have problems with his mobile charger, it's not working according to him or perhaps his cellphone's not working well.

Just this afternoon, I was strolling in the mall alone and still trying to call him in his mobile phone. After many attempts I successfully heard his voice and ask him what's wrong and how he is. Still, he told me it's his phone, he don't know what's wrong with it. Then the line was cut. Tried calling again and I can't reach him again. Hayz. I was still trying to call him while I was heading home and when I was able to get through the line, I told him I'm going to their house as I was getting worried about not hearing from him the whole day.

There he was, with his two siblings in the living room singing with their videoke system. I guess, he was telling the truth. His phone's off and was plugged for charging but it's not charging. LOL.

I guess I now realized how difficult and worrysome it was texting someone you care and not hearing from him back. I miss the old him. He used to text me everyday, almost every minute but I did not appreciated his effort...now I do. Back then, I was contented to text him back with only few messages. But when I don't hear from him the whole day, I misses him and that's what I am feeling now. Hayz, I just wish everything will get back to the way it was before. c",)

for these past few days, after the so-called break up, Arven and I still constantly communicate via text messaging. i was close to giving up my hope of us getting back. just yesterday, we talked personally and i guess we're getting back together. we're trying to fix things and honestly, it's hard. things have changed, it isn't the same as before. even he changed. he's not the usual expressive guy i knew. he honestly told me about it, that he finds it hard to trust me again and that the pain is still there. though he admitted that he still loves me, though it's lesser than before and he's scared to love me more. huhu.

i'm quite happy being with him again, though kinda sad because things are different now. i miss the old him. T_T.

The day that was...

I was able to buy a dvd copy of Gossip Girl Season 2. At last, I'm done watching with the season 1. Can't get enough of Queen B and the rest of the gangs.

I've also bought a dvd copy of Death Note 3 live action. I'm a big fan of death note and seeing a death note 3 intrigued me knowing that the characters already died from it. Bought it and just recently finished watching it. It's not the same concept with the previous death note I've seen. This is more of L's story.

Right now, I wanted to go to the bookstore and buy the books I've been eyeing for the past few days.

Dropping EC with ease

Are you using entrecard toolbar now? Well I am using it for several days now and I can say it helped me dropped my entrecards with ease. And because I have three blogs, it's not hard to switch from one blog to the other with this toolbar.

I'm using this while watching Gossip Girl. Still in season 1. So far I'm liking it and getting addicted to it. I'll be buying the season 2 since I'm about to finish it today.

Loving too much...

I was crying my heart out since last night over this break up, geez! Can't accept the fact he's dumping me. Who wouldn't do that after all that I've done, right? I was hoping he'll changed his mind but unfortunately he didn't. He always emphasized how hurt he was and how stupid he thought he was. It hurts to hear him say he wanted to forget me and start a new life without me.

After all the begging and pleading I made, the urge of hurting myself set in. But my mom came in to the rescue. We talked about it. I told her my mistakes and that I don't want to let go of him. I repeatedly told her it was my mistake and I should make up for it. She advised me that we should talked about it and compromise. And I quote what she said...

"...Talk about it. Yes, it was your mistake but despite that, if he's still willing to accept you, hold on and go on with the relationship. But if he's not willing to accept the past, let go and move on. There's no point of holding on when he cannot accept it and doesn't love you anymore. You'll argue about it over and over again even until you'll get married. It's painful to accept but that's part of loving. You will get hurt in the process but if you really love someone, you'll endure the pain, forgive and forget, and love again. If he comes back, good for you; if not, then just accept it. Be brave! And didn't I tell you not to love too much?"

"...if he can't accept the past, he doesn't truly love you. Because if he does, he won't let go of you no matter what you've done and how painful it was."

Honestly, it was comforting to hear that from her. I didn't expect it thinking that she was insensitive, unapproachable, a nagger and biased. I've heard that advise from everyone, but it's just comforting and convincing hearing it from her. I never talked about my problems with her. After our conversation, I felt relieved though there's still pain but I'm trying to accept that we're over. Wait, is cool off the same as break up? Either way, I hope it's not final but I'm guessing it is.

I think I followed her advise not to love too much. But what happened? He even accused me for taking him for granted. Yeah right, I did feel too comfortable of his love. And because of that, I became the unfaithful gf and now we're over. Still I'm hoping he'll come back, but I think he won't since he wants to find his true love. As for him, I will always be the unfaithful gf but he will always be my one true love. Though I screwed up, huhu.

Is this considered a basement?

Basically our house has been used as a storage of some stocks from our shop. And they're obviously occupying the space in our front yard. You'll see wheel rims, coilovers and other stuffs that I do not even know what they are called. Although those rims helped conceal the unfinished open window we have in the dining room, so I think it's double purpose anyway.

Lawyers for specific health disease

As a health care provider, I am aware of the fact that we need lawyers to defend us in terms of suits accused on us, and of course patients do also need one to safeguard and defend their rights. Though what I didn't know is that there are these certain lawyers for cerebral palsy patients. Is this specialization? I'll try to figure that out.

There was a time I got worried about my future with "A", him being a future seafarer and me being a nurse with the dream to work abroad. I thought if we'll both work abroad there will be little chance for us to communicate or perhaps see each other. So I thought that perhaps there should be one of us who'll stay here. And I think it must be me. Considering this case, I planned to set up a business. Since it might be hard to start one, I consider getting a franchise. After all there are a lot of franchise opportunity out there to chose from. I guess, that plan will just remain a plan.
